Dreams 31

So I was taken from my normal life by this being of light, essentially a man shape glowing amber that was difficult to look at directly. We'll call him the guide. He took me to this tiny point of light deep in the universe, showing me en route that it was a mere speck of dust surrounded by hundreds of enormous and terrible cosmic entities, each one the size of a galaxy, but all in a cluster focused on this tiny point of light. One by one they were diving into it, and there was a hole in the point of light that they had to dive through, and some weren't making it.
The guide took me to the point of light then, and it was part of a street in a small town with a grocery/furniture store. The hole was in the middle of the street, and lining the street was a long series of wooden shelves filled with pill bottles that had stitched woolen labels, almost like they were all wearing socks. The guide pulled one and handed it to me, it said: Toby Anderson. It had a stitched image of a cartoonish little boy with a hat and coat and at the bottom it said: Beloved Uncle
It wasn't mine, because it was spelled wrong, and before I said anything the guide switched it for one that had my name spelled correctly. The stitching was red on white, but my name was white with white outline, and looked incomplete, like it was supposed to be filled in with red. The cartoon boy had sad red eyes and at the bottom it said: Too Soon. I opened the bottle and the guide told me offhandedly not to take one, but I had the feeling that he wanted to help me but was not allowed to say certain things, so I took one. It was shaped like a small inverted dark chocolate mushroom.
He then took me to the grocery/furniture store to talk to some people. The rooms we went through were all furniture, and we got to one that was empty except for this lady sitting on a big wooden chair with an audio device next to her, watching tv. She saw us and turned off the tv, then told her audio device "auto play Bonnie Raitt". The device started playing Concrete Jungle by Bob Marley and the Wailers, and I turned to the guide and told him I had heard that song 10 times in the last week and that my friend on the west coast sent me a video of them playing it live on The Old Gray Whistle Test (which is true in real life). The lady then gave me a series of appointments with these weird cosmic "doctors" which took place in a rotating set of little energetic windows. One of the doctors told me "the universe doesn't have a plan for you, Toby, you have to take a plan" and one tried to break me down with words mentally, but I bested him, because I'm good at words and shit. Then I woke up.

Dreams 30

I was recording a song at a music studio in some nameless city, and I needed certain other instruments that I didn't have. So I went and got a ukulele, and a small violin (about 8 inches long). I carried them in this beautiful lacquered blonde wooden case and headed back through the city. I came to a place that was a cross between a beach resort and a city block, with a swimming pool in the street and impossible tall buildings. I remember kicking a giant beach ball across the street back and forth with someone. There were these see through awnings on either side of the street that people would gather under, and periodically, from really high up, an enormous amount of dirty black water would fall and hit the awning with a giant crash. People would scream like they were on a roller coaster, and the water would hit the awning and harmlesslly roll off. I did it a few times, it was quite a rush.
