Dreams 26

I was at a not in session high school in some unnamed city with a group of about 20 people. It was evening time, and the earth was suddenly attacked by fast moving/flying, enormous cosmic monsters that created astral color burst explosions and were covered in tentacles and teeth. They were extremely blood-thirsty and violent, and over half of our group was violently murdered and eaten within the first few minutes of the invasion. There was a cave exit in the basement of the school, but when we tried to get out that way one of the monsters killed another of us.
          We were by the front door debating the best place to go and what to do, when 3 upright-walking, necktie-wearing bears walked up and asked if we had seen a little bear. We hadn't. They went on their way, and a brief time later a little bear walked up and asked if we had a payphone to call his parents. We didn't, and he walked away, but one of us went after him to help and they both disappeared around the corner. I decided that we should find food and stay put in the school with the hope that the attacks would end and we would be safe. So we found food, and I was handed a few restaurant-style plated dishes and I went to put them away behind this combination bar/kitchen that was in the school lobby. And then I woke up.
