Owls and Spiders: Sushi

We were lost at sea, and our ship was sinking

we were lost at sea

lost at sea...

The compass was tossed overboard

in an ugly and violent storm

now there's holes in her bow and her stern

and we're going down

My mind and my body are cold, I cling to

the ship

with my soul

without any sign of a shore...

I tumble adrift with the waves

the floor of the sea is

my grave

and I can speak of this to no one

not even my love

She

comforts me now with her memory, I'm

losing this body's vitality

and my only regret is that I couldn't kiss her

goodbye
